GENERO.TV

Roles: Flash, Photoshop
Year: 2011
Website: genero.tv

Brief:
New banner design for Genero.tv. The concept was aimed at introducing the graphic style of their brand into the animation to broadcast and advertise upcoming competitions. The banner displays a variety of artists ranging from Moby to Booka Shade.

PLUMBBOT'S BLUNDER

Roles: Maya, Premiere, After Effects
Year: 2007
Awards: Best 3D Animation, Monash 2007.

Brief:
My intention for this piece was to focus upon the narrative, character design and detailed animating in the facial expressions and movement. The sequence shows the clumsy behaviour and the tentative personality of Plumbbot, as he attempts to retrieve his missing tap piece. Ultimately he is doomed.

THE FRENCH CONNECTION

Roles: Maya, Premiere, Photoshop
Year: 2007

Brief:
The inspiration for this sequence came from the idea of the domino effect of continual cascading movement. I focused upon getting the interaction and movement of the objects as realistic as possible and also worked with the camera angles to capture the performance of the unfolding events.

GREY IP LAWYERS

Roles: Maya, Premiere
Year: 2007

Brief:
This short animation piece was designed as a 10 second advertising loop to be played inside an elevator or lobby environment.

SLIPPED UP

Roles: Maya, Premiere, Photoshop
Year: 2006

Brief:
For this project I focussed my attention to the actual narrative of the piece. I wanted to create an engaging story that captures the intrinsic nature of the frog. I tried to focus upon getting the movement and motion of the frog to be as realistic as possible. Slipped Up is aimed at being a comical narrative that displays the determined, yet inept nature of the frog.

EVERYONE WANTS A SLINKY

Roles: Maya, Photoshop, Premiere
Year: 2005

Brief:
This piece was my first 3D animation project. The brief was to animate any object of our desire, and hence I chose a slinky for its challenging movements and flowing motion. I also aimed at manoeuvring the camera in a way that it not only captured the motion of the slinky effectively, but also moved in a similar fashion to that of the slinky.
